HOSTILE ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS TRAINING (HEAT) PREPARES YOU TO OPERATE IN HOSTILE OR HIGH-RISK ENVIRONMENTS.

Who is this course for? 

This course is designed for everyone from all industry and travel sectors. From people who travel to remote or hostile locations to those who work in high-risk or unpredictable areas.

• No previous training or qualifications necessary
• Certificated and valid for four years
• Practical in person course recognised by all insurance underwriters

What will you learn on this course? 

You will gain an understanding of the risks and threats associated with travel to high-risk locations. Develop the knowledge and practical skills necessary to react and respond appropriately to high stress situations ranging from bombings and vehicle related incidents to high-risk kidnap situations. The medical training provided on our HEAT courses will provide you with skills and confidence to save lives in even the most remote locations.

• Assess and manage threats, including conflict, kidnap and detention risks in high-threat areas
• Provide life-saving trauma aid
• Enhance field safety through vehicle security, IED and landmine awareness and weapon familiarisation
• Develop practical navigation and secure communication skills for remote operations
• Handle real-world crisis scenarios with practical, hands-on training
